About AI Construction Timelapse

AI Construction Timelapse generates a frame-by-frame time-lapse of a project being built: from untouched site to finished building, or from bare shell to furnished interior. Upload one to four reference photos of the project (site, render or finished views) and the tool renders the construction sequence leading up to them.

You choose the project type (building construction or interior fit-out), the number of frames (4, 6 or 8) and a look: matched to your photos, photorealistic, cinematic, drone aerial or documentary. Each frame follows real construction milestones (excavation, foundations, structure, envelope, finishes), while keeping the exact same camera position and framing for continuity.

Frames are generated one at a time and appear in a growing filmstrip, and you are charged per frame; if a frame fails, the remaining frames are not charged. When the sequence is complete you can play it back at different speeds and export it as a WebM video directly in the browser: a compelling asset for project marketing, client updates and social media.

How to use AI Construction Timelapse

  1. Upload 1–4 reference photos of the project: the finished result will match them.
  2. Choose the project type (building construction or interior fit-out) and the number of frames.
  3. Pick a look and optionally add project notes to describe the build.
  4. Click Generate timelapse and watch the filmstrip fill in, frame by frame.
  5. Play the finished sequence, adjust the speed, and export it as a WebM video or download individual frames.

Frequently asked questions

Per frame: the page shows the cost per frame and the total for your chosen frame count before you start. If a frame fails midway, the remaining frames are not generated and not charged.

Every frame is rendered from your reference photos with the same camera position, angle, framing and lighting, only the progress of the works changes, following canonical milestones from empty site (or bare shell) to the finished result.

The project as it should look when finished: a completed photo, a render or current site views. Up to four images can be uploaded, and the final frame of the timelapse is made to match them.

Yes, the player exports a WebM video recorded in your browser. If your browser does not support video capture, you can still download every frame individually.

No: it is an AI-generated visualization of plausible construction phases, not documentation of the real build. Use it for storytelling and marketing, not for progress reporting or claims.

They are processed on the server for the duration of the job and cleaned up automatically after a retention period, along with the generated frames.
