About Change Audio Volume

Change Audio Volume makes any audio file louder or quieter in seconds. Pick auto-normalize to balance the loudness to a broadcast standard (EBU R128) — the recommended choice for podcasts and voice recordings — or switch to custom mode and set an exact level from much quieter to several times louder with a slider and presets.

A live preview lets you hear the custom volume before processing; in normalize mode the preview plays the original, since normalization is computed during processing. The tool warns you that very high volumes can clip and distort loud passages.
