About Boomerang Maker
The Boomerang Maker turns a short clip into a looping forward-then-backward video, just like Instagram’s Boomerang. The clip plays to the end, reverses back to the start, and can repeat that ping-pong cycle one to four times for a longer, hypnotic loop.
Boomerangs are silent by design — the audio track is removed, because sound that constantly reverses is jarring. Short clips of a simple, punchy motion (a jump, a splash, a cheers) make the best results.
Processing happens on the server and the boomerang downloads as an MP4 you can post anywhere. The tool is free to use.
