About HTML to PDF

HTML to PDF turns a web page into a PDF you can keep, share or print. Paste the address of any public page and it is opened in a real browser engine on our server, with ads and trackers blocked and cookie banners hidden, then printed exactly the way your own browser would print it, links and selectable text included.

You can also paste your own HTML, with an optional block of CSS, and watch a live preview update as you type. This is the quickest way to turn an invoice template, a report or an email layout into a clean PDF without installing anything. Scripts in pasted code are never run, in the preview or in the PDF.

Every print setting is yours: six paper sizes, portrait or landscape, margins from none to large or an exact value in millimetres, a scale from 10% to 200%, background colours and images, print or screen styles, and only the pages you need. "One long page" keeps a whole article on a single tall page with no page breaks, and an optional header and footer add the title, date and page numbers.

How to use HTML to PDF

  1. Choose Web page to convert a URL, or HTML code to paste or load your own markup.
  2. Enter the address, or paste your HTML and optional CSS and check the live preview.
  3. Pick the paper size, orientation, margins and scale, and any extras such as page numbers.
  4. Click "Convert to PDF".
  5. The PDF downloads automatically, with a preview of its first page, its page count and size.

Frequently asked questions

Yes. Converting a web page or your own HTML to PDF is free, with no watermark.

No. Only public pages can be converted, because the page is opened by our server, not by your browser, so it never sees your accounts or cookies. For a private page, open it in your browser and use its own Print to PDF command.

Many sites ship a print stylesheet that hides menus and ads. Switch "Use the styles for" to Screen to keep the page exactly as it looks on screen, and turn on background graphics to keep colours and images.

Choose the "One long page" layout. The page is printed as a single tall sheet as wide as your paper size, ideal for long articles, receipts and designs. Extremely long pages may still be split once they pass about 5 metres.

No. Pasted HTML is rendered without JavaScript, both in the live preview and in the PDF, so content built by scripts will not appear. Static HTML and CSS, web fonts and images from public addresses all work.

Yes. Turn on "Add a header and footer with page numbers": each page gets the document title and date at the top, and the address and "page / total" at the bottom.
