Trim / Cut Video keeps just the part of a clip you need and throws away the rest. After uploading, a filmstrip editor shows the whole video as thumbnails — drag the handles to mark the start and end, drag the middle to slide the whole selection, or click anywhere on the strip to seek.
You can play only the selected range to check it before committing, and the exact start time and duration also accept typed values in seconds (5) or timecode (00:00:05) when you need frame-accurate numbers.
The cut is made on the server and the trimmed clip downloads as an MP4 — free, quick and without any watermark. It is the natural first step before compressing, converting or captioning a longer recording.
How to use Trim / Cut Video
- Upload the video you want to cut (MP4, MOV, WebM, MKV, AVI or M4V).
- Drag the filmstrip handles to set the start and end of the part to keep.
- Press Play selection to double-check the range.
- Click Trim video.
- Download the trimmed MP4 — it also starts downloading automatically.
