About Compress PDF
Compress PDF reduces a document’s file size so it fits under email attachment limits and loads faster on the web. Two levels are offered: Web, which downsamples images for the smallest file, and Print, which keeps images sharper for higher-quality output. After compressing, the tool shows the original size, the new size and the percentage saved.
You can compress up to 10 PDFs in one batch — multiple results are bundled into a single ZIP download. Savings depend on the document: image-heavy PDFs shrink dramatically, while already-optimized, text-only files may barely change, and the tool tells you when that happens.
Compression runs on the server with a deterministic optimizer. Files are processed privately and cleaned up automatically, and the download starts as soon as the result is ready.
How to use Compress PDF
- Drag and drop the PDF — or up to 10 PDFs at once.
- Choose the compression level: Web for the smallest size, Print for higher quality.
- Click “Compress PDF”.
- Check the before/after sizes and percentage saved, then download the result — multiple files arrive as one ZIP.
