About Color Palette Generator
The Color Palette Generator builds harmonious color schemes from an interactive color wheel. Pick a base color, choose a harmony rule — analogous, monochromatic, triad, complementary, split complementary, square, shades or fully custom — and the tool computes a matching palette instantly, with draggable markers on the wheel for fine-tuning.
Each swatch exposes its HEX, RGB, HSL and HSB values, and any color in the palette can be promoted to the new base with one click. A brightness slider shifts the whole scheme lighter or darker while the hue relationships stay locked, which makes exploring variations of a scheme very quick.
Everything is calculated live in your browser using color-theory math on the HSV wheel — there are no uploads and no server round-trips. When the palette looks right, copy individual values, all colors at once, ready-made CSS variables or a JSON export.
How to use Color Palette Generator
- Pick a base color with the picker, type a value, or click "Random".
- Choose a harmony rule such as analogous, complementary, triad or square.
- Drag the markers on the wheel and adjust the brightness slider to fine-tune the scheme.
- Click a swatch to copy it, or set it as the new base color to iterate.
- Export the palette with "Copy all", "Copy CSS variables" or "Copy JSON".
