About Change Video Volume
Change Video Volume makes a clip louder or quieter, or evens it out automatically. Auto-normalize balances the loudness to the EBU R128 broadcast standard — the recommended fix for quiet dialogue and clips with uneven sound — while custom mode sets an exact level from 25% down to a 300% boost.
A live preview lets you hear the new volume in your browser before anything is processed, complete with a level meter, and the page warns you when a big boost risks clipping the loudest parts of the soundtrack.
Only the audio track is adjusted — the picture is not re-encoded, so there is no visual quality loss and processing stays fast. The result downloads as an MP4, free of charge.
