About Online Piano & Drum Pad
The Online Piano & Drum Pad puts a playable instrument in your browser. In piano mode, play the on-screen keyboard with your mouse, a touchscreen, or your computer keys — each note shows the key that triggers it. Shift octaves to reach higher or lower registers, hold notes with sustain, and toggle the note labels.
Switch to drum mode for a pad of core kit sounds: kick, snare, hi-hat and open hat, clap, tom, rim and cymbal — enough to sketch a beat or practice basic patterns. A volume control and selectable sound character round out the controls.
All the sounds are synthesized in real time with the Web Audio API — no samples to download, nothing uploaded, nothing installed. That makes it a free, instant way to check a melody, test an interval by ear, or noodle on a beat wherever you have a browser.
How to use Online Piano & Drum Pad
