About PDF to text
PDF to Text pulls all selectable text out of a PDF in seconds. Every paragraph, heading and table becomes plain text in its original reading order, displayed in a viewer with word and character counts, a find-in-text search, a copy button and a .txt download.
It is the fast answer when you need to extract text from a PDF for quoting, editing, translation memory or feeding into another tool — without opening a heavyweight editor or copying page by page past the reader’s selection quirks.
One honest limitation: scanned PDFs are images of text and contain nothing selectable, so they cannot be extracted here. For those, run the OCR PDF tool first, which recognizes the text and can output it as plain text too.
