About Photo Face Blur
Photo Face Blur hides faces in a photo before you share it. Upload a picture and faces are detected instantly, right in your browser — click any detected face to include or exclude it, and choose a detection level from prominent faces only up to hunting small, distant ones.
Beyond faces, you can drag extra blur areas over license plates, name tags or screens. Two effects are available — a soft frosted blur or chunky pixelation — each at three strengths, and the live preview uses the same math as the final render, so what you see is what you get.
Face detection runs entirely in your browser; the photo is only uploaded at the end to render the final image at full resolution on the server. The tool is free but requires signing in.
How to use Photo Face Blur
- Sign in and upload a photo (JPG, PNG or WebP), or paste it from the clipboard.
- Review the detected faces and click any face to include or exclude it; raise the detection level to find smaller faces.
- Drag extra blur areas over plates, name tags or screens if needed.
- Pick the effect — blur or pixelate — and set the strength.
- Render the result, compare it side by side with the original, and download.
