Excel ↔ PDF
Convert spreadsheets to PDF, or pull tables out of PDFs into Excel.
Turn a spreadsheet into a clean, paginated PDF — or extract a PDF's tables back into a spreadsheet.
About Excel ↔ PDF
Excel ↔ PDF converts in both directions. Send a spreadsheet — XLSX, XLS, CSV or ODS — to get a clean, paginated PDF with your choice of portrait or landscape orientation and A4 or Letter paper. Or upload a PDF that contains tables and pull the data back out into an Excel workbook or a CSV file.
Both directions run locally on the platform’s own servers: the spreadsheet is rendered to PDF by a spreadsheet engine, and PDF tables are parsed back into rows without any external service. No AI reinterprets your numbers.
PDF-to-Excel is a best-effort extraction that works well on text-based PDFs with clear columns. Scanned documents are images and cannot be extracted — a limitation the tool states up front rather than returning garbage.
How to use Excel ↔ PDF
- Pick the direction: Excel → PDF or PDF → Excel.
- Drop in your file — a spreadsheet (XLSX, XLS, CSV, ODS) or a text-based PDF.
- For Excel → PDF, choose the orientation and paper size; for PDF → Excel, choose XLSX or CSV output.
- Click “Convert” and download the result.
