About AI Audio Translation

AI Audio Translation takes a spoken recording in one language and gives you its text in another. Upload an MP3, WAV, or M4A file, choose the target language, and the tool first transcribes every word, then translates the transcript while preserving its meaning and structure.

Ten target languages are available (English, French, Spanish, German, Italian, Portuguese, Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, and Russian) making it useful for translating interviews, voice messages, foreign-language podcasts, lectures, and customer recordings. The page shows the original transcript alongside the translation so you can compare them, and the result can be downloaded as text.

Both steps run on the server and the tool uses credits from your account. Uploaded files are stored only for processing and removed automatically afterwards.

How to use AI Audio Translation

  1. Upload the audio file you want translated (MP3, WAV, or M4A).
  2. Choose the target language from the ten available options.
  3. Click Translate and follow the progress as the audio is transcribed, then translated.
  4. Compare the original transcript with the translation on screen.
  5. Download the translated text, or run another file.

Frequently asked questions

You can translate into English, French, Spanish, German, Italian, Portuguese, Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, or Russian. The source language does not need to be selected: it is detected during transcription.

Text. You receive the translated transcript, shown next to the original for comparison. If you need it spoken, paste the translation into the AI Voiceover tool to generate an MP3 narration.

Quality depends on the recording: clear speech with little background noise transcribes and translates very well. The translation preserves the meaning and structure of what was said rather than a word-for-word rendering.

No: each run performs a transcription plus a translation on the server, so it uses credits from your account. The cost per run is shown on the page before you start.

Only temporarily. Files are uploaded for processing and cleaned up automatically by the platform afterwards, so download your translation once it appears.
