About AI Face Blur
AI Face Blur anonymizes a photo in one step. In Automatic mode it finds and blurs recognizable faces for you, with three detection levels: from prominent foreground faces only up to every detectable face in crowds and reflections. In Specific-person mode you add a reference portrait, and every appearance of that one person is blurred while everyone else stays sharp.
The blur is destructive: anonymized faces cannot be restored or “un-blurred” from the result. Everything else stays faithful to the original (clothing, background, lighting and image quality) and a comparison slider shows the original against the anonymized version.
Processing runs on the server and uses credits from your account; if it fails, you are not charged, and uploads are cleaned up automatically. For complete anonymization, pair it with the EXIF & Metadata Remover to also strip location data.
How to use AI Face Blur
- Sign in and upload the photo you want to anonymize (JPG, PNG or WebP).
- Choose a mode: Automatic with a detection level, or Specific person.
- For a specific person, add a clear, front-facing reference photo of their face.
- Click “Blur faces” and wait while the photo is anonymized.
- Compare original and result side by side, then download the anonymized photo.
