AI Image Detector
Check if an image is AI-generated: provenance metadata plus a visual analysis, with a clear likelihood score.
Upload a photo or an illustration and get a likelihood that it was made by an AI image generator. We combine two independent clues: what the file itself declares (Content Credentials, IPTC source type, generator software, Stable Diffusion parameters, camera data) and a visual check for typical AI artifacts.

About AI Image Detector
The AI Image Detector estimates how likely an image is to come from an AI image generator such as Midjourney, DALL-E, Stable Diffusion, FLUX, Firefly or Imagen, and explains why.
It combines two independent sources of evidence. First, the file itself: Content Credentials (C2PA) manifests, the IPTC digital source type that many generators now write, generator software names, Stable Diffusion and ComfyUI generation parameters, and real camera data. Second, a visual analysis of the pixels that looks for typical artifacts: hands and anatomy, garbled lettering, inconsistent lighting, waxy textures or melting backgrounds.
The result is a likelihood score with a clear verdict, the provenance clues found in the file and the visual signals with the region where each one appears. Detection is probabilistic: no tool can be right every time, so treat the score as one clue among others.
How to use AI Image Detector
- Upload the image to check, ideally the original file rather than a screenshot.
- Click "Check the image".
- Read the likelihood score and the verdict.
- Review the provenance found in the file metadata and the visual signals, with their strength and location.
- Copy the report if you need to share or archive it.
