About Compress Image to KB or MB
This free tool compresses an image to the exact file size you need: 20 KB, 50 KB, 100 KB, 200 KB, 500 KB, 1 MB, 2 MB or any size you type. It is made for upload limits on application forms, job portals, email attachments, marketplaces and website builders, where a photo is rejected as soon as it is a few kilobytes too heavy.
For every image, the browser searches the encoder quality step by step and keeps the highest quality that still fits under your target. When lowering the quality alone is not enough, it can scale the image down gradually until it fits, and an image that is already small enough is kept exactly as it is. Each result shows its new size, the percentage saved, its dimensions and the quality used, with a before and after slider to check the details.
You can add up to 30 images at once, save them as JPG or WebP (or keep the original format), cap the width and height, and download one file or everything as a ZIP. Nothing is uploaded: the compression runs entirely in your browser, so your photos stay private on your device.
