Blur license plates in car photos automatically with AI, one photo or a whole batch, and adjust every blur box before you download.

Add one car photo or a whole batch: the AI finds every license plate and puts an editable box on it. Choose how to hide the plates (blur, pixels, a color bar or your own label), adjust any box, then download. Your photo is never redrawn by the AI, so its quality stays intact.

About Blur License Plates

Blur License Plates hides the registration numbers in your car photos before you post them on a marketplace, a classified ad, a dealer website or social media. Add one photo or a batch of up to 20: for each photo, the AI locates every visible plate (front, rear, angled, small or in the background) and draws an editable box around it. You can also ask it to find faces, for street shots or photos with people around the car.

The AI only finds the plates: it never redraws your photo. The hiding is done in your browser on the exact pixels of each box, so the rest of the picture keeps its original sharpness and colors. Choose a destructive blur, pixel blocks, a solid color bar or a label bar with your own text such as "SOLD" or your dealership name, then set the padding and rounded corners. The style applies to every photo at once and you can change it as often as you like for free.

Every box stays editable: move it, resize it with its handles, delete it, or draw new ones by hand for anything the AI missed, with undo and redo. Hold "Show original" to compare. Downloads are rendered at the full resolution of your original files, one photo at a time or all together in a ZIP. Each detection costs credits per photo, a photo where no plate is found is not charged, and drawing boxes by hand needs no AI at all.

How to use Blur License Plates

  1. Add up to 20 car photos: choose them, drop them on the page or paste one from the clipboard.
  2. Choose what to find, license plates only or plates and faces, then click "Detect plates": the photos are analyzed one after the other.
  3. Pick how to hide the plates: blur, pixels, a color bar or a label with your own text, and fine-tune the padding and corners.
  4. Check each photo: move or resize a box, delete a wrong one, or draw a box by hand where a plate was missed.
  5. Download the current photo, or every photo at once as a ZIP file, at full resolution.

Frequently asked questions

No. The AI only returns the position of each plate. The blur, pixels or color bar are applied in your browser inside those boxes, and the rest of the photo is exported untouched at its original resolution.

Every box can be moved, resized or deleted, and you can draw new boxes by hand with "Draw a box" or by dragging on the photo. Undo and redo are available, and the "Box padding" slider grows every box to cover the plate frame.

Up to 20 photos per batch. They are analyzed one after the other, each one charged separately, and you can download them all together as a ZIP file.

Each photo analyzed by the AI costs credits, shown on the "Detect plates" button before you start. If no plate is found on a photo, or the detection fails, you are not charged. Drawing boxes by hand, changing the style and downloading are free.

No. The area is shrunk before it is blurred, so the original characters are not in the file anymore. Pixels, color bars and labels replace the plate completely. Keep your original photo if you need it later.

Yes. Choose "License plates and faces" before the detection: faces get the same effect as the plates, and the "Blur faces too" switch lets you show them again if you only want the plates hidden.
