About Add Text to Photo
Add Text to Photo puts fully styled, draggable text layers on any image — bold meme captions, labels, announcements or watermark-style notes. Pick from eight fonts including the classic Impact, then control fill, outline, highlight, shadow, size, rotation, opacity and letter spacing per layer.
The two classic meme lines have their own quick inputs: type top and bottom text and they land on the image already styled and positioned, with optional white or black caption bars. You can also add image layers — a logo or transparent PNG sticker — and reorder everything in a layers list.
Everything runs in your browser and your image is never uploaded. Start from a photo, a screenshot or a blank white, black or gradient canvas, then download as PNG for the sharpest text or JPG for a smaller file — or copy the result straight to the clipboard.
How to use Add Text to Photo
- Upload an image (JPG, PNG, WebP or GIF), paste one, or start from a blank canvas.
- Type your caption — use the quick top/bottom inputs for classic meme lines, or add free text layers.
- Style each layer: font, fill, outline, highlight, shadow, size, rotation and spacing.
- Drag layers into place on the image; double-click text to edit it.
- Download as PNG or JPG, or copy the finished image to your clipboard.
