How it works
About Resize Video
Resize Video changes a clip’s resolution or aspect ratio for wherever it is headed. Presets cover 1080p, 720p and 480p (all keeping the original aspect ratio), a 1080×1080 square center crop for Instagram, and a 1080×1920 vertical crop for TikTok, Reels and Shorts — plus a custom mode for exact pixel dimensions.
A framing preview shows precisely what the new frame keeps: dimmed areas will be cropped away, and for crop presets you can drag the bright window to choose which part of the picture survives. Setting one custom dimension scales while preserving the aspect ratio; setting both crops to fit.
The video is scaled on the server into an H.264 MP4 with the audio passed through untouched. Resizing is free, and the page warns you when your target is larger than the source, since upscaling can look soft.
