AI Proofreader
Fix spelling, grammar, punctuation and clarity.
How it works
About AI Proofreader
The AI Proofreader checks spelling, grammar, punctuation and clarity in any draft up to 20,000 characters: emails, essays, articles or posts. Your text comes back as a marked-up proof in classic editor style: removed words are struck out and additions appear in red ink, so every single fix is visible.
Corrections keep your voice and your language rather than rewriting your ideas. A fix counter shows how many changes were made, editor’s notes list what was removed, added or re-spaced, and a toggle switches between the marked-up view and the clean copy, which you can copy or download as .txt.
Proofreading runs on the server and uses credits from your account. A “Polish it again” button loads the clean copy back into the draft for another pass whenever you want a second look.
How to use AI Proofreader
- Paste or type your draft: an email, essay, article or post up to 20,000 characters.
- Click “Proofread it” and let the editor read the draft.
- Review the marked-up proof: struck-out text was removed, red ink was added.
- Check the fix count and the editor’s notes, then switch to the “Clean copy” view.
- Copy the clean text or download it as .txt, or click “Polish it again” for another pass.
