About Online Text Editor

The Online Text Editor is a fast, distraction-free writing space that autosaves as you type. Every note is stored privately in your own browser — no account, no upload, no clutter. Keep several notes at once, rename, duplicate or delete them, and pick up exactly where you left off.

Despite the minimal look, it is a capable editor: bold, italic, headings, quotes, bulleted and numbered lists, links, text color and full tables, plus find and replace with match-case, undo/redo, and live word, character, line and reading-time counts. Choose a sans, serif or mono font, adjust the text size, and switch between light, sepia and dark themes.

When you are done, export the note as Word (.docx or .doc), Rich Text (.rtf), Markdown (.md), plain text (.txt) or PDF, or copy and print it directly. Focus mode and fullscreen strip the interface away when you just want to write.

How to use Online Text Editor

  2. Format with the toolbar: headings, bold, italic, lists, quotes, links, colors and tables.
  3. Use Find & replace, the word counter and Focus mode or fullscreen while you work.
  4. Manage notes from the My notes panel: create, rename, duplicate or delete.
