About Sheet Statistics
Sheet Statistics profiles a spreadsheet in one pass so you can judge data quality before importing, cleaning or analyzing it. It reports the overall shape — rows, columns, cells and blank cells — then breaks down every column: detected type, filled versus blank counts, unique values and the most common value.
Numeric columns additionally get min, max, mean and sum, which quickly exposes outliers and mistyped values. Type detection distinguishes numbers, text, dates, booleans, empty and mixed columns; a column flagged as mixed or with an unexpectedly high blank count usually points to messy data worth cleaning first.
The profiler accepts XLSX, XLS, CSV, TSV and ODS files and runs entirely in your browser, so it is safe to inspect sensitive exports. When the analysis is done you can download the per-column report.
How to use Sheet Statistics
- Upload a spreadsheet by drag-and-drop or Choose file, or load the sample.
- Set the "First row is a header" switch so column names are read correctly.
- Read the summary cards: rows, columns, cells and blank cells.
- Scan the per-column table for type, filled/blank counts, unique values, min/max/mean/sum and the most common value.
- Download the statistics report if you need to keep or share it.
