About Merge Excel Files
Merge Excel Files combines any number of spreadsheets — XLSX, XLS, CSV or ODS, mixed freely — into one file, entirely in your browser. Drop the files in, reorder them with the arrows, and a live preview shows the combined result before you download anything.
Two combine modes cover the common needs. Append rows stacks every file into a single sheet in the order shown, and the header option keeps one header row while dropping the repeated header from every other file. One sheet per file instead turns each source file into its own tab in a single Excel workbook.
An optional source column prepends the originating file name to every row, so you can always trace where a record came from after the merge. Since everything runs client-side, the files never leave your device.
How to use Merge Excel Files
- Drop in two or more spreadsheets — XLSX, XLS, CSV or ODS can be mixed.
- Reorder the files with the arrows; rows are stacked top to bottom in that order.
- Pick the combine mode: append all rows into one sheet, or one sheet per file.
- Toggle the header option and, if useful, add a source column with each row’s file name.
- Check the merged preview, choose the output format and download the merged file.
