About Zodiac Sign Calculator
The zodiac sign calculator tells you which western zodiac sign and which Chinese zodiac animal belong to your date of birth. Enter one date and you get both systems side by side: your star sign with its element and polarity, and your Chinese animal with its element from the five-phase cycle.
Western signs follow fixed date ranges through the solar year — Aries starts the cycle in late March, Pisces closes it. The Chinese zodiac works differently: it assigns one of twelve animals to each lunar year, paired with one of five elements (Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal, Water) that repeat on a sixty-year cycle.
