About Parking Layout Calculator
The parking layout calculator estimates how many stalls fit on a lot — or how much land a given number of stalls requires. Enter the lot width and depth, pick the parking angle (90°, 60°, 45°, or parallel) and a stall size, and it lays out double-loaded modules: two rows of stalls sharing one aisle.
The results go beyond a single count: you get the number of double-loaded bays, stalls per bay, the aisle width for the chosen angle, the bay depth, and the gross area per stall including circulation. Angled parking needs narrower aisles but consumes more depth per stall, and the calculator makes that trade-off visible.
Three stall sizes are built in — standard 2.5 × 5.0 m, compact 2.4 × 4.8 m, and accessible 3.7 × 5.0 m — and a module plan diagram shows the bay layout. It is a free browser tool for early site planning; actual yield depends on lot shape, entrances, landscaping, and local parking standards.
How to use Parking Layout Calculator
