The scientific calculator brings a full-function calculator to the browser: trigonometry with a degree/radian toggle and inverse functions, natural and base-10 logarithms, powers and roots, factorials, reciprocals, percentages, and the constants π and e. Expressions support parentheses, so you can type a whole calculation before evaluating it.

It keeps the workflow features of a physical calculator and adds a few. A memory register supports MC, MR, M+, and M− with an indicator when a value is stored; Ans recalls the last result into the next expression; and a history panel logs your calculations so you can revisit or reuse them. Any result copies to the clipboard in one click.

Students, engineers, and anyone who left their calculator at home use it for homework, quick engineering checks, and everyday math beyond the basic four operations. Everything is computed right on your device, free — nothing you type is sent anywhere.

How to use Scientific Calculator

  1. Type or click an expression — parentheses, functions, and constants can be combined freely.
  2. Set the angle mode to DEG or RAD before using trigonometric functions.
  3. Press equals to evaluate; the result appears and is added to the history.
  4. Use Ans to chain the last result into a new expression, and M+, M−, MR, MC to work with memory.

Frequently asked questions

Use DEG for everyday geometry and most engineering inputs (sin 30° = 0.5) and RAD for calculus and physics formulas, where angles are naturally in radians (sin π⁄6 = 0.5). The toggle applies to sin, cos, tan, and their inverses.

ln is the natural logarithm, base e ≈ 2.71828, used throughout math and science; log is base 10, common in engineering scales like decibels and pH. ln e = 1 while log 10 = 1.

M+ adds the current result to memory, M− subtracts it, MR recalls the stored value into your expression, and MC clears it. An indicator lights up while a value is stored so you never wonder whether memory is empty.

Yes, two ways: press Ans to insert the last answer into a new expression, or pick any earlier calculation from the history panel. The history persists while the page is open and can be cleared with one click.

Usually an unbalanced parenthesis, a missing operand, or a domain problem such as the square root or logarithm of a negative number. Check the expression and try again — the calculator evaluates only mathematically valid input.
