QR Code Scanner
Scan and read QR codes with your camera or from an uploaded image — decode links, Wi-Fi, contacts and text. Nothing is uploaded. Free, in your browser.
QR codes are decoded entirely in your browser — from your camera or an image you choose. Nothing is uploaded.
About QR Code Scanner
The QR Code Scanner reads QR codes directly in your browser — either live through your device camera or from an image you drop, paste or browse for. It decodes the content instantly and recognizes what it is: a link, plain text, a Wi-Fi network, a phone number, an email, a contact card or a location.
Decoding happens entirely on your device with a self-hosted, in-browser decoder. Camera frames and uploaded images are processed locally and never leave the browser, so you can scan tickets, Wi-Fi cards or unknown codes without sending anything to a server.
Once a code is decoded, the tool offers the right action for its type — open the link, copy the text, or read the network or contact details — and a “Scan another” button resets everything for the next code. If your device has several cameras, you can switch between them while scanning.
How to use QR Code Scanner
- Choose the Camera tab and click “Start camera”, allowing camera access when your browser asks.
- Point the camera at the QR code; it is decoded automatically as soon as it is readable. Use “Switch camera” if your device has more than one.
- Alternatively, open the Image tab and drop, paste or browse for a picture or screenshot that contains a QR code.
- Read the decoded result and its detected type — link, text, Wi-Fi, phone, email, contact or location.
- Click “Open link” or “Copy” to act on the result, then “Scan another” to continue.
