About Favicon Generator

The Favicon Generator builds every icon a modern website needs from a single source: upload a logo PNG, choose a font icon, or type a monogram. The package includes the classic favicon.ico (16, 32 and 48 px), modern PNG favicons, the 180 px Apple touch icon, 192 and 512 px PWA icons, a site.webmanifest and the HTML head snippet.

Styling is handled in the tool: pick a background color or keep transparency, clip to a square, rounded or circle shape, tune the padding and artwork size, and set the theme color used by browser UI and the PWA manifest. A live preview shows your icon in real contexts — a 16 px browser tab, a bookmark, the Apple touch tile and a PWA icon.

Everything is rendered on a canvas in your browser, and Generate assembles the whole package into a ZIP with a README. Installation is two steps: unzip into your site root and paste the provided snippet into your <head>.

How to use Favicon Generator

  1. Choose your source: upload a PNG logo, pick a font icon, or type a monogram.
  2. Style it — background color or transparency, shape, padding and artwork size.
  3. Fill in the site name, short name and theme color for the PWA manifest.
  4. Check the previews: browser tab, bookmark, Apple touch and PWA contexts.
  5. Click “Generate favicons” and unzip the package into your website root.
  6. Paste the HTML snippet from the package into your page’s <head>.
