About Fake Data Generator
The Fake Data Generator builds realistic mock data for testing and prototyping. Pick fields from eight groups — person, internet, address, company, finance, dates, numbers and IDs, and text — choose a row count, and generate names, emails, phone numbers, addresses, credit-card-style numbers, UUIDs, sentences and dozens of other types in seconds.
The output adapts to where you need it: view the rows as a table, or switch to JSON, CSV or SQL INSERT statements (with a configurable table name) and copy or download the result. The preview shows the first rows of large sets; the copy and download always contain everything you generated.
The main generator runs entirely in your browser with nothing sent to the server. When you need locale-accurate data — postal addresses and phone numbers formatted for a specific country — a separate country-specific panel generates them server-side with the PHP Faker library and hands you the rows as a table or CSV.
How to use Fake Data Generator
- Add the fields you need and pick a type for each — for example Full name, Email, City, IBAN or UUID — renaming the columns as you like.
- Set the number of rows to generate.
- Click “Generate”, then hit “Regenerate” whenever you want a fresh randomized set.
- Switch the output between Table, JSON, CSV and SQL; for SQL, set the table name used in the INSERT statements.
- Copy the result or download it as a file.
- For country-accurate addresses and phone numbers, use the country-specific data panel, pick a locale and its fields, and generate.
