About Periodic Table of the Elements
This interactive periodic table lays out all 118 chemical elements in the classic 18-column grid, with the lanthanide and actinide series shown in their detached f-block rows. Each tile carries the element’s symbol, name, atomic number and atomic mass, and the tiles are color-coded across ten element categories, from alkali metals to noble gases.
A search box finds any element by name, symbol or atomic number, highlighting matches while dimming the rest of the table, and category filter chips let you isolate groups like transition metals or halogens. It is a quick reference for chemistry students checking electron configurations and anyone who needs an atomic mass without opening a textbook.
Tapping an element opens a detail panel with its group, period, block, atomic mass, electron configuration, electronegativity, phase at room temperature and category — each value copyable with one click. Everything runs in your browser, so lookups are instant.
How to use Periodic Table of the Elements
- Open the tool to see all 118 elements arranged in the standard periodic table layout, color-coded by category.
