About Diacritics & Accent Reference
The Diacritics & Accent Reference collects every accented variant of each base letter in one browsable grid — á, à, â, ä, ã, å and the rest for a; ç for c; ñ for n — so you can find and copy the exact character you need. Each variant is copied with a click and shown with its Unicode code point.
It solves two everyday problems at once. When you need an accented character your keyboard cannot type — a name, a loanword, a citation — you search the base letter or paste the accented character itself and copy the right glyph. The search works in both directions, so pasting é lands you on the e family.
The page also includes a live “remove accents” panel: paste any text and watch every accented character fold back to its plain ASCII base — the same character map that powers the standalone Accent Remover. It reports how many characters were folded, and everything runs in your browser with nothing sent to a server.
How to use Diacritics & Accent Reference
