Solve picture-logic puzzles (Picross) using the number clues on each row and column.
How to play
- The numbers beside each row and above each column tell you how many cells are filled in that line, and in which groups.
- Left-click (or tap) a cell to fill it. Right-click — or use the mark mode on touch — to flag a cell as empty with an ✕.
- Click and drag to paint several cells at once.
- Finish when every filled square matches the clues. Marks are only memory aids and never count against you.

About Nonogram
Nonograms — also known as Picross, griddlers or picture cross — are logic puzzles where number clues tell you which cells to fill, and the finished grid reveals a hidden pixel picture. The numbers beside each row and above each column give the lengths of the filled groups in that line, in order, with at least one empty cell between groups.
The format emerged in Japan in the late 1980s, credited to designers Non Ishida and Tetsuya Nishio, and gained worldwide fame through Nintendo’s Picross series. This version supports fill and mark modes, drag-painting across multiple cells, a mistake checker and a tap-friendly mode toggle for touch screens — free to play in your browser.
How to use Nonogram
- Read the clues: the numbers beside each row and above each column give the sizes of that line’s filled groups, in order.
- Left-click (or tap) a cell to fill it.
- Right-click — or switch the tap mode to Mark on touch — to flag a cell as definitely empty with an ✕.
- Click and drag to paint several cells in one stroke.
- Use Check to verify your progress, and finish when every filled square matches the clues.
