About Dice Roller
The Dice Roller is a virtual dice tool that rolls anywhere from one to eight dice at a time. It supports every common polyhedral shape — d4, d6, d8, d10, d12 and d20 — so it works just as well for board games and classroom activities as it does for tabletop RPG sessions.
Every roll shows each die’s value plus the combined total, and a history panel keeps track of your recent rolls so nobody has to remember the numbers. Because it runs entirely in your browser, you can roll dice online free without installing an app or creating an account.
How to use Dice Roller
- Use the slider to choose how many dice to roll, from 1 to 8.
- Pick the die type from the dropdown: d4, d6, d8, d10, d12 or d20.
- Click or tap the dice area — or press the Roll button — to roll.
- Read each die’s value and the total in the results panel.
- Review recent rolls in the history list, or press Clear history to start fresh.
