As a rule of thumb, keep a target keyword around 1–2% density. Much higher can read as keyword stuffing to search engines.
About Keyword Density Checker
The Keyword Density Checker counts every word in your text and shows how often each single word, 2-word phrase and 3-word phrase appears, along with its density as a percentage of the total word count. It also reports words, unique words, characters, sentences and estimated reading time in one glance.
Enter an optional target keyword and the tool tells you exactly how many times it appears and what density that works out to, so you can compare it against the common 1–2% guideline. A stop-word filter hides fillers like “the” and “of”, and a minimum word length keeps short noise out of the tables.
The analysis runs entirely in your browser with JavaScript. Your article is never uploaded to a server, which makes the checker safe for unpublished drafts, client copy and confidential documents.
