Remove Duplicate Lines & Words
Remove duplicate lines or words from your text with case-insensitive, keep-order and trim options — and see exactly how many were removed.
Paste your text, choose lines or words and remove the duplicates. All processing happens in your browser.
About Remove Duplicate Lines & Words
Remove Duplicate Lines & Words de-duplicates your text in either of two modes: line mode drops repeated lines from a list, and word mode removes repeated words within the text. A counter reports exactly how many duplicates were removed so you can verify the cleanup at a glance.
Three options control what counts as a duplicate. Ignore case treats “Apple” and “apple” as the same entry, trim whitespace ignores stray leading and trailing spaces when comparing, and keep original order preserves the first occurrence of each entry in its original position instead of reordering the result.
It is a fast way to clean keyword lists, email lists, log extracts and CSV columns. All processing happens in your browser — your data is never uploaded, and the tool is free.
