About ID3 / Audio Tag Editor
The ID3 / Audio Tag Editor lets you view and edit the metadata embedded in your music files: title, artist, album, album artist, year, genre, track and disc numbers, comments, and cover art. Load a file and its existing tags appear in an editable form, with the current cover image shown alongside.
Tag reading works for MP3, M4A, FLAC, OGG, and more, so you can inspect the metadata of almost any track. Tag writing currently targets MP3: your edits are saved as ID3v2 tags into a freshly downloaded MP3, including a new JPEG or PNG cover if you upload one.
The editor is fully client-side — reading and writing both happen in your browser, and your music is never uploaded to any server. That makes it a quick, private way to fix wrong song titles, add missing album art, or clean up a music library file by file.
