About Slack Conversation Generator
The Slack Conversation Generator mocks up a Slack channel directly in your browser. Set the channel name and member count, then build the conversation message by message: each row has its own display name, timestamp, text, emoji reactions with counts, and an optional thread snippet showing the reply count.
Messages support Slack’s everyday formatting — *bold* text and `inline code` render exactly like the real client — and avatars are generated automatically as colored monograms from each author’s name. A day divider pill and the "Message #channel" input bar complete the look, in both light and dark themes.
The mockup starts from a realistic seeded conversation you can edit, reorder or extend, and exports as a crisp PNG — useful for product demos, tutorials, presentations, documentation and workplace memes.
How to use Slack Conversation Generator
- Pick a light or dark look and set the channel name and member count.
- Edit the seeded messages or add your own with display names and times.
- Use *bold* and `code` markers in the text for Slack-style formatting.
- Add emoji reactions with counts, and enable a thread snippet where you want one.
- Toggle the day divider and input bar to match a real screenshot.
- Check the live preview, then click Download PNG to save the mockup.
