Files go straight to your computer. Nothing is stored on our servers.

About Cloud Link Downloader

The Cloud Link Downloader saves everything behind a public share link to your computer in one go. Paste a Google Photos album link, a Google Drive file or folder link, or a Dropbox link: the tool lists every photo, video and file it holds, with thumbnails for albums and the folder structure for Drive, so you can pick exactly what you want.

Photos and videos come in their original quality, under the file names the camera gave them, and the ZIP keeps their capture dates. Google Drive folders keep their sub-folders, and Google Docs, Sheets and Slides are exported as Word, Excel and PowerPoint files. A Dropbox folder arrives as the ZIP that Dropbox builds for it.

Nothing is stored on our servers. A file-by-file download goes straight from the provider to your browser, the ZIP is built while it downloads and streamed to you as it grows, and in Chrome or Edge you can save everything directly into a folder of your choice. No account, app or browser extension is needed, only a link that anyone can open.

How to use Cloud Link Downloader

  1. Copy the share link of the album, folder or file: in Google Photos, Google Drive or Dropbox, use Share, then Copy link.
  2. Paste it into the field and click “Get files” to list everything the link contains.
  3. Keep every item selected, or untick the photos and files you do not need.
  4. Click “Download ZIP” for one archive, “Save to a folder” to write the files straight into a folder on your computer, or “Download one by one”.
  5. Open the ZIP or the folder: your files are there with their original names and quality.

Frequently asked questions

Shared Google Photos albums (photos.app.goo.gl and photos.google.com/share links), Google Drive files and folders shared with “Anyone with the link”, Google Docs, Sheets and Slides links, and Dropbox file and folder links.

Yes. Google Photos items are fetched as the original files, under the camera’s file names, and videos as the original video files. Nothing is resized or recompressed: the ZIP stores every file exactly as it is.

No. The tool only reads the list of files behind the link. Downloads either go directly from the provider to your browser or pass through our server as a stream to your computer, without ever being written to disk.

The owner shared it with specific people only, the link has expired, or the files were deleted. Ask the owner for a link anyone can open (in Google Drive, “Anyone with the link”), then try again.

Up to 2,000 items are listed per link, and one ZIP can hold up to 2,000 of them. For a very large album, select part of the items and download it in several ZIPs.

Browsers ask before a site starts several downloads in a row, which is what “Download one by one” does. Allow it once, or use the ZIP or “Save to a folder”, which save everything in one step.

Yes. The ZIP and file-by-file downloads work in any recent browser, mobile included. “Save to a folder” needs Chrome or Edge on a computer.
