Compare PDFs puts two versions of a document side by side and shows exactly what changed. Both files are read in your browser, their text is pulled out line by line, and the two line lists are diffed so every added, removed and unchanged line is marked.
The result can be read side by side or as one inline column, with counts of what was added, removed and left alone at the top. A page overlay blends the two rendered pages onto each other so identical pixels cancel out and only the visual differences light up.
Nothing is uploaded — the reading, the diff and the rendering all happen locally, so a contract or a draft never leaves your machine. The comparison works on selectable text, so scanned, image-only PDFs have nothing to diff until they have been through OCR.
