Redact PDF blacks out sensitive content for good. The pages are rendered in your browser so you can drag a box over any name, number or paragraph that must not be readable, on as many pages as you need, and the server then burns those boxes into the document.
This is real redaction, not a black rectangle laid on top. Every page you mark is rasterized at 150 dpi and the boxes are filled in solid on that bitmap, so the text and vectors underneath are removed from the file rather than hidden behind a shape someone could move aside.
Only the pages carrying a box are flattened: pages you never touched keep their original vector content whenever the source can be re-imported. When it cannot — the free parser reads PDFs up to version 1.4 — the whole document is flattened instead.

- Drag and drop the PDF you want to redact; its pages render in the browser.
- Drag on a page to draw a black box over anything that must not be readable.
- Draw as many boxes as you need, on any page — remove one, or clear them all, if you change your mind.
- Click “Apply redaction” and the boxes are burned in on the server.
- The redacted PDF downloads automatically.
