The DPI Changer rewrites the print resolution of an image — to 300 DPI for print, or any custom value — without touching a single pixel. Unlike converters that re-save the whole image, this tool patches only the density metadata: the JFIF and EXIF resolution fields in a JPEG, the pHYs chunk in a PNG, or the resolution tags in a TIFF. The pixels are copied byte-for-byte, so there is zero quality loss and the file downloads instantly. Formats without a DPI field, such as GIF or BMP, are re-encoded to PNG with a clear notice.
