О Color Palette from Website

The Color Palette from Website tool reveals the colors a site actually uses. Enter a public web address and the page is fetched on our side — browsers cannot read another site directly because of cross-origin restrictions — then its inline styles, embedded style blocks and linked stylesheets are scanned for every color token.

HEX, rgb(), rgba(), hsl() and hsla() values are all normalized to a single HEX form and counted, so the palette comes back ranked by how often each color appears in the site's CSS. That frequency ordering is what separates a brand's real primary color from the dozens of one-off borders and shadows further down the list.

Every swatch copies with one click, and the export panel turns the result into CSS variables, SCSS, a Tailwind config, JSON, an SVG swatch sheet or a plain HEX list. The tool is free and rate-limited, only reaches public addresses, and stores nothing beyond a short-lived cache of the extraction.

Как использовать Color Palette from Website

  1. Paste a public website address into the field (https:// is added automatically if you omit it).
  2. Click "Extract colors" and wait a moment while the page and its stylesheets are read.
  3. Review the palette — colors are ranked by how often they appear in the site's CSS.
  4. Click any swatch to copy its HEX value, or use "Copy all" for the whole list.
  5. Open Export to get the palette as CSS, SCSS, Tailwind, JSON, SVG or plain HEX.

Часто задаваемые вопросы

Paste the address into this tool and click "Extract colors". It reads the page's stylesheets and inline styles, then lists every color it finds ranked by frequency, so the most-used brand colors appear first.

A stylesheet usually contains far more incidental colors — borders, shadows, hover states — than brand colors. Counting how often each value appears pushes the colors that define the site to the top of the list.

The tool reads the CSS a page ships. Sites that paint their design with images, canvas or WebGL, or that build styles entirely in JavaScript after loading, expose few color values in their stylesheets. Pages behind a login or a bot-protection wall also cannot be read.

No. Only public web addresses are accepted: requests to private, local or reserved network addresses are blocked as a security measure, and only the standard HTTP and HTTPS ports are allowed.

Yes, up to a limit. Stylesheets linked from the page — including those on a CDN — are fetched through the same safety checks, so colors defined in an external CSS file are counted alongside the page's own styles.

Yes, completely free with no account required. Requests are rate-limited to keep the service available for everyone, and results are briefly cached so repeating the same URL returns instantly.
