O PDF Metadata Editor
The PDF Metadata Editor shows what a document says about itself, then lets you change it. Drop a file in and its title, author, subject, keywords, producer, creation and modification dates, page count and PDF version are read straight away — in your browser, before anything is uploaded.
From there you can rewrite the title, author, subject, keywords and creator application, or strip those fields entirely for a clean file that carries no author name and no trace of the software that produced the original.
The rewrite happens on the server, applied through Ghostscript’s pdfmark so the page content is left exactly as it was; a re-stream through FPDI stands in when Ghostscript is not available. Only the document information changes — your pages, fonts and layout do not.

- Drag and drop the PDF — its current metadata is read in your browser and shown on the page.
- Choose whether to edit the fields or strip all metadata.
- When editing, fill in the title, author, subject, keywords and creator application.
- Click “Save metadata” — or “Strip metadata” to clear the fields.
- The updated PDF downloads automatically.
